Baron Philippe De Rothschild

Cabernet Sauvignon 
It has an attractive purple / red colour. The nose is complex and reveals blackcurrant and cherry aromas perfectly mingled with notes of spice. The palate has a round and elegant attack which emphasises the intensity of red fruit flavours. A mid-palate of coffee notes builds to a long and harmonious finish.
Merlot
Merlot has expansive fruit flavours and rounded tannins, with an apparent softness that enables the wines to reach their peak rapidly. A deep ruby red. The nose reveals red fruit aromas, subtly mingled with notes of violet, spice and pepper. The attack is supple and round, with an attractive intensity of flavour supported by silky tannins, leading into a dense and succulent mid-palate and a long, highly elegant finish.
Pinot Noir
Is an attractive, clean and bracing cherry-red colour. it has a refined nose which opens on pleasant aromas of red fruit (morello cherry, blackcurrant) and violet, mingled with some slightly smoky, mineral notes. On the palate, a well-rounded structure elegantly combines with highly refined flavours in a fresh, round and generous whole, building to a rich and silky finish that reveals substance, roundness and attractively fruity length.
Sauvignon Blanc 
Pale yellow with a golden tint. The highly expressive nose opens on intense pink grapefruit notes mingled with the delicate, box-like floral aromas typical of a Pays D’Oc Sauvignon. The attack is supple and powerful. The fruit driven mid-palate strikes a fine balance between citrus freshness and the softness of white peach, building to an attractively long and flavoursome finish.
Chardonnay
Straw yellow with a slight golden hue. The nose opens on white peach aromas and subtle floral notes, going on to reveal a light touch of mild spice with airing. From a full-bodied attack on highly expressive white fruit flavours, the mid-palate reveals subtle notes of acacia blossom and mild spice, leading into a long finish sustained by an attractive minerality.
